This Wellington maternity session was especially fun to shoot, because I absolutely love the family in front of the lens! About a year ago, I was introduced to Mandy through a mutual friend at a Palm Beach County library story time. (Local mommas, you can find story time info here) We instantly connected because we both had toddler boys about the same age. If you are a parent, you know there is no quicker way to a fast friendship than bonding over parenthood. The tantrums, the picky eating, the toddler logic… the list just goes on and on. As we got to know each other better we found we had a lot more in common than just our kids. Fast forward a few months and we were both pregnant again. It was so fun to find that Mandy was also expecting a little girl!
The whole time we shot this session I was just so excited for our newest little girls to-be to become besties. We decided to keep this maternity session close to home in Wellington. In typical South Florida afternoon fashion, there were a lot of clouds and no sun. We all thought downpour was about to begin, but luckily it only drizzled for a moment. I mean, look at the gorgeous sun we got at the end! I am thankful for quick weather changes, this little hidden location in Wellington, and this adorable little family.
Update: Once Baby Hailey made her arrival, I was lucky enough to capture her newborn session. Click Here to see her newborn photos!
